O.P.I Feelin HOT HOT HOT! Nail Lacquer Review

When I first started looking for new nail summer colors, I knew that I wanted to venture out of the common colors everyone gravitates to that are all BUT the newest rave. I do love the "go to" and "trendy" colors but this color caught my eye immediatly with its subtlty yet underlying pizzazz! This color is from the South Beach Collection and gives your nails an immediate burst of fun color and brightness. If I could describe this color it would be a pinky hot coral with a undertone of pink salmon. The color finish is matte and it may take three consistently layered and well stroked coats in order to keep the transluscentness from coming through. All in all, a great color for summer and you will definitly reach for this bottle each time you get your manicure. :)

Revlon Photo Ready VS MAC Studio Sculpt

Here's a lil review on some foundations that have drawn my attention this summer. I don't know if you've realized this but the whole world has gone camera crazy and so have I. We spend our time documenting every single little detail of our lives and it's utterly FABULOUS! As we primp up for our mini photoshoots and what nots, we find that maybe some camera's don't do our complexions justice. There is a remedy for that and here is the deep secret. Foundation foundation foundation! There are two particular brands that I'm love love loving at the current moment and I hope this helps you choose what you feel is best for you before you say CHEESE! First off,we have Revlon's Photo Ready Foundation. My color choice is 006 Medium Beige. It ranges between $10-$13, comes in a bottle form of 1 oz and has a pump action spout rather than the traditional pour spout which is a modern day plus! As far as thickness, I would say it's not too thick and not too thin. It's creamy and blends well into the skin. You can mix it with tinted moisturizer in order to add the extra glow to your skin. It has an SPF 20 is great when set with a transluscent powder. The payoff is great when it comes to this foundation and I highly recommend it when taking photos. If you want that airbrush glow...this is the way to go.

On the higher end brands of foundation you may want to choose MAC's Studio Sculpt foundation. My skin color is NC35. The price range on this product is from $25-$30. You can use it for everday wear if you need something that guarantees full coverage. I also mix this with a tinted 50SPF moisturize so that I get the protection I need from the sun. This is my go to foundation when I'm working on bride's. Since brides are in 99.9% of their wedding pictures we want to make sure that there is not a white wash across their face on their big day. We opt for Studio Sculpt because it's "photo" friendly foundation as opposed to MAC's studio fix. This foundation is a bit thicker than Revlon's Photo Ready but a little goes a long way. It's in a squeeze tube that yields 1.3 oz. This foundation produces a flawless look and gets the long wear job done. I used it on my last bride and she raved about how she loved the coverage she kept till the next day with almost no touch ups.

Overall, both products do the job. It's just a matter of how much you are willing to spend for a photo friendly foundation. Both products are easily blendable and can be used with a foundation brush, stippling brush, beauty blender, or your fingers. :)
